What does your service cost me, a job seeker? +

Our services are free for our candidates. Our fees are paid exclusively by the employer.

What do I need to bring to the interview? +

Please bring an updated resume.

What is the difference in temporary, Temp-to-Hire and direct hire opportunities? +

Temporary employment is assignment based; associates will work at our client site for as long as the assignment lasts (assignments can be one day, a couple of weeks/months and even years!).

Temp-to-Hire employment occurs when our client has an open job opportunity and elects to bring on an associate for a "probationary" term, after which the client will determine whether or not to hire the associate for that open job.

How is Professional Services different from Temp-to-Hire? +

Temp-to-Hire is more for the clerical or entry-level candidate where Professional Services is for experienced professionals. If our client selects you following a series of interviews and hiring methods, you will initially be on Tri-Starr’s payroll and, after a predetermined period of time, transfer to the client’s payroll as their full time employee.

What type of positions do you commonly receive? +

We primarily work with temporary, Temp-to-Hire and direct-hire opportunities in the following categories: Administrative/Clerical, Finance and Accounting, Executive Professional, Healthcare and Skilled Industrial.

What is your application process? +

Once you have completed the online application or submitted your resume, should you be qualified for any of our job opportunities, you will be contacted by a Client Services Representative. We will then schedule a face-to-face interview with an experienced recruiter who will delve into your work history and experience to determine whether or not you qualify for the position you inquired about. Should you meet the qualifications of the job, we will provide specific information about the job duties, the company and the company culture, prepare you for the interviews with the employer, and walk you through the process in hopes of attracting an offer. If you do not meet the requirements of the job, your file will be kept active and you will be presented on any other positions that you do qualify for.
